God's Plan of Salvation through His Son Jesus Christ

Do you know Jesus Christ and what He has done for you personally?  If you have a few minutes let me share with you how you can know Him personally, because He will change your life.

The Bible says, "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3.23).  God had created humans perfect without fault or sin when He created Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, but He also gave them choices.  They could either obey God or not.  They chose not and thus humankind was plunged into sin cutting the relationship with God.

God cannot be around sin.  Romans 6.23a says, "For the wages of sin is death..."  That is eternal (forever) seperation from God.  Since there was no way that humans could come to God, God came to humans.  The rest of the verse reads, "...but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."

God came to earth in the form of Jesus Christ. Jesus was 100% God and 100% man. "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life" (John 3.16).  Jesus came to earth and lived a sinless (perfect life) and then went to the cross to die for the sins of the world (all past, present, and future sins).  We had no love for God, but He still loved us.  "God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5.8).

Jesus did not stay dead though or there would not have been any triumph or victory over our sins.  Three days after He died and was buried He rose again.  It is through that faith and trust in His act that one is saved.  Romans 10.9-10 says, " if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."  It is not about the words one says, but the heart and mind saying to God, I put my trust fully in You.  I am a sinner I have fallen short and only Jesus Christ is the One who can save me from my sins.  I put my trust completely in You forgive me of sins.

While a prayer is not what saves You (it is the faith and trust in Jesus sacrifice alone) the best way to express what the heart wants to say is through prayer.  If you would like to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior right now I would encourage to pray something like this:

"Dear Jesus, I admit that I am a sinner and I need Your forgiveness.  I believe that You are who You said You were, God in flesh, and I accept Your free gift of eternal life.  I believe that You Jesus died, were buried, and rose again on the third day and that Your perfect blood pays the price.  Come into my life right now.  In Jesus' name I pray.  Amen."

If you pray something like this and you are genuine about it, then you are saved.  Welcome to the family of God.

If you have any questions about Jesus or the Bible we at the church would love to sit down with you and share the Gospel with you.
